Din-Chang Tseng received his
Ph.D. degree in Information Engineering from National Chiao Tung
University, Hsinchu, Taiwan, in June 1988. Since
Oct. 1996, he has been a professor in the Department of Computer Science and Information
Engineering at National Central
University, Chung-li, Taiwan. He is a member of The IEEE, The Chinese Image Processing and Pattern Recognition Society, and The Chinese Geographic Information Association. His current research interests include image
processing, computer vision, and virtual reality; especially in the topics: multiresolution terrain
modeling with dynamic loading, virtual city, computer vision aided road vehicle
driving, wavelet-based image processing,
and
medical image processing.
